Visiting Shropshire

Getting to and around Shropshire couldn't be easier. By motorway Shropshire is approximately 3 hours from London, an hour or so from Manchester and only 40 minutes from Birmingham. With these connections we are spoiled for access to international airports.

After you have spent the day exploring our beautiful county you can sit back and relax in one of our hotels, Bed and Breakfast or Guest Houses.

Once here, if you have found that you have forgotten your walking boots or waterproofs we have many outdoor shops that you can kit yourself out at. And if you need further information about the surrounding area our Visitor Information Centres and Points are scattered across the county. You can even give them a call before you come to get information to plan your visit.
